3 pages from the guide: the cover, the contents (60 questions in 11 sections) and one complete question with its answer, code and interview tips.
This guide answers 60 practical questions about Claude Code, Anthropic's coding agent for the terminal, in eleven sections: the first hour, CLAUDE.md and memory, managing the context window, plan mode and permissions, custom commands, skills, subagents and hooks, MCP servers, git and team workflows, debugging and refactoring recipes, cost, and the limits you should know about. Each answer gives the short recipe first, then the reason, a prompt, command or config file you can adapt, the common mistake and a follow-up. It follows the official documentation as of October 2026 (Claude Code 2.1.x), and the commands and configuration are not executed in the guide, so try them on a scratch project first.

claude --help are listed.Read the first two sections in order, then jump to the topic you are stuck on. Copy the prompts and settings into a scratch project before you use them on real code, and keep the cheat-sheet pages open while you work. Commands and defaults change quickly, so compare anything important with /help and claude --help on your installed version.
Use a Stop hook. Claude Code runs it every time Claude finishes responding. If the hook prints {"decision": "block", "reason": ...} Claude must keep working, with the reason as its next instruction. Check stop_hook_active first so you do not loop forever.
