3 pages from the guide: the cover, the contents (50 questions in 6 sections) and one complete question with its answer, code and interview tips.
Every Java backend talks to a database, and interviewers check that you understand what happens below JPA. This guide covers JDBC from drivers and DataSources to statements and java.time mapping, streaming result sets, transactions, isolation levels and locking, batching and connection-pool sizing, virtual threads, SQLException handling, testing, and where JdbcClient, JPA and jOOQ fit.
50 questions in 6 sections, 50 code examples and 14 diagrams in a 66-page PDF (2026 edition).

100 Java Collections Framework interview questions with detailed answers, code examples and performance tips.

Learn the transactions and isolation section well enough to draw it, then read the batching and pooling answers next to your own service's configuration.
PreparedStatement prevent SQL injection, and what can it not parameterize? With a PreparedStatement, the SQL text and the parameter values travel separately: the values are never parsed as SQL, so ' OR '1'='1 is just a strange string. (With server-side preparation the database receives them in separate protocol messages; with client-side preparation the driver escapes them correctly.) But a placeholder can only stand for a value: you can't bind identifiers (table, column names), keywords (ASC/DESC), ORDER BY columns, LIMIT in some databases, or a whole IN list. Those parts must come from an allow-list, never directly from user input.
